More ACG-related Randomness (and Hakuouki X Durarara = Awesomeness)

Want to write a little about life before my next review post, which will probably be on Hakuouki (surprise surprise ;;^^): either Hijikata’s route or Saito’s route. I am enjoying Hijikata’s route a lot! Didn’t think that I would like it that much because he treats the protagonist like a child (well he is 28 and he acts older than his age), but after the mid-way point you get to see his strength and his manliness as he struggles to support Shinsengumi. It is hard to not fall for him from that point onwards! It doesn’t help that he is so pretty too…

Found an amazing fan-made video of Durarara X Hakuouki! Two of my favourite series together, love it *_*~

My table now! My old laptop broke down last year so I have replaced it with a iMac,  hence the lack of update on PC Otome games. I would need to install XP on my computer so that I can play Bloody Call and finish off Kuni no Alice. My Nendoroid Sebastian and Zetsubou Sensei are on my desk to keep me company and collect dust. One of my all-time hobbies is taking photos of random things with my DSLR. I will probably add a page in 26 Hours with my figurine photos some time next week.

Apart from Hakuouki (which pretty much dominates my life now, as you can see from my PSP screen ;;^^), I have been reading the book “The Road” when I commute to work. Half-way through it now. It is so sad! I want to stop reading it to prevent myself from knowing what will happen to the poor boy and his dad… Also I am following the Japanese series Ryoma Den produced by NHK. Highly recommend it if you enjoy seeing bishie (Fukuyama Masaharu) dressed in traditional Japanese Yukata *o*!

A video showing some filming footages for Ryoma Den below.

Do you have other hobbies apart from ACG/playing Otome games?

If you enjoy Hijikata’s route so much then you should really share it with everyone. I am really interested in all of the character’s routes because I can’t play it.

Hakuouki is out on nearly all platforms now – PS2, PSP and recently DS. The PS3 version will be out in June I believe… Apart from PS2, the game should work for all consoles regardless of region, so it’s pretty easy to buy it online and play *_*.

I am just really busy recently with work – have to work 6 days a week. Moreover, I went on holiday recently for a week so I have been out-of-touch with ACG ;;^^. I will try to write some reviews this weekend.

I really hope(doesn’t mean it’ll happen) that the US will consider bringing Hakuouki here, I mean with it out on so many platforms surely people must really like the game…

I suppose its nice to dream…

Hakuouki has been voted as the most favourite otome game of 2010 ^^! So it is very popular, but the appetite for otome games outside of Japan is not high enough… which is a real shame, I would LOVE to see otome games getting translated!
